Cellist Gautier Capuçon: Gaïa (Erato)
French cellist Gautier Capuçon says he feels blessed as he talks about his latest project, an album titled Gaïa, a name that comes from the Greek goddess of Earth and mother of all life. To create the recording, Capuçon invited composers from various genres to express their concern and/or gratitude for Mother Earth and the beauty of nature. This includes a unique opening track: a composition by Max Richter called Sequence for Gaïa. Find out more on New Classical Tracks, with host Julie Amacher.
