New Classical Tracks - Joshua Gindele from the Miró Quartet

Miró Quartet: Hearth (Pentatone)

Joshua Gindelle is the cellist of the acclaimed Miró Quartet. When host Julie Amacher spoke to him recently, the ensemble had just returned home after having performed the entire Beethoven quartet cycle at Oberlin College. It was part of the Miró Quartet’s 30th anniversary celebration. Now the party continues with a new holiday-themed recording: Hearth. It features fresh arrangements of familiar holiday tunes from 15 contemporary composers. Find out more on New Classical Tracks with host Julie Amacher.
