New Classical Tracks - Melanie DeMore

Melanie DeMore, composer, and VocalEssence: How to Hold On, Songs of Comfort and Solace

Melanie DeMore is a singer, composer, choral conductor and vocal activist who uses her voice as a weapon of mass connection. She recently released her latest project, How to Hold on, Songs of Comfort and Solace. The recording was made in YourClassical’s studios in St. Paul, with VocalEssence, an ensemble with which DeMore has a strong connection. When the album was released recently, we celebrated with a live event and we invited some of you to be in the audience to listen in on this behind-the-scenes conversation. Find out more on New Classical Tracks with host Julie Amacher.
