New Classical Tracks - Jeremy Denk

Jeremy Denk, piano: Ives Denk; with Stefan Jackiw, violin (Nonesuch)

In 2010, pianist Jeremy Denk released his debut recording featuring the Piano Sonatas No. 1 and 2 by American composer Charles Ives. Those sonatas were recently remastered and combined with Ives’ Violin Sonatas on Denk’s new two-CD album, released just in time to mark the composer’s 150th birth anniversary. Find out more on New Classical Tracks, with host Julie Amacher.
