New Classical Tracks - David Leisner

David Leisner, guitar: Charms to Soothe (Azica)

“Lyricism and soulfulness is exactly what I had in mind,” guitarist David Leisner says about his latest recording. The album, titled Charms to Soothe, marks his return to 19th-century guitar solo repertoire. Leisner is also the author of a book titled Playing with Ease, which is designed to help instrumentalists avoid injuries like what he experienced when he was diagnosed with focal dystonia. Find out more about his road to recovery and his new projects on New Classical Tracks, with host Julie Amacher.
