Joanne Polk has dedicated much of her recording career to the music of women composers. One of those composers is Cécile Chaminade, a French pianist who wrote hundreds of piano pieces at the turn of the 20th century. Polk has taken a deep dive into the music of Chaminade and recently released Nostalgia, the second volume featuring the composer’s piano music.
