Horn player Sarah Willis recently completed her latest project, a holiday album titled Cuban Christmas featuring her band, the Sarahbanda. “Dancing is a very important part of it, and we classical musicians are not known for our dance skills,” Willis says. “[That’s] what I love about Cuban music, (…) it's so intricate. There are so many different rhythms in there. It's not just salsa beats like a lot of people think it is.
