Reunited 'Lion King' cast captures magic with 'Circle of Life'

The cast members of the stage musical The Lion King gathered recently for their first rehearsal since COVID shut down London’s West End, and the British theater website WhatsOnStage was there to capture the emotional, magical moments as they sang “The Circle of Life.”

This powerful video has been creating a huge stir on social media, with one YouTube commenter, BehindTheMagic, saying: “WOW. I’m crying already. Can’t imagine what it’ll be like in the theatre on the first night back! The King has returned! 🧡”

The show reopens Thursday at London’s Lyceum Theatre, with performers from seven countries.
