The Kenari Quartet was formed in 2012 at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where all four members study with world-renowned saxophonist and pedagogue, Dr. Otis Murphy.

The Quartet aims to highlight the versatility of the saxophone by performing music from a wide range of genres. Since the members of the Kenari Quartet come from varied musical backgrounds, the ensemble has a unique voice that is well informed by many musical traditions, including classical, jazz, and soul.
