A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is a cherished holiday tradition for many. Hosted by Michael Barone, A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is a live stereo music and spoken-word broadcast from the chapel of King's College in Cambridge, England.

The 30-voice King's College Choir performs the legendary Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols service of Biblical readings and music at 9 a.m. Central / 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016, on the Choral Stream. There will be an encore broadcast the same day at 7 p.m. Central / 8 p.m. Eastern on Classical MPR.
