On this week’s episode of SymphonyCast, host Julie Amacher features the Buffalo Philharmonic at Kleinhans Music Hall. They are performing a concert that the orchestra took on tour to Poland in 2018. Conductor JoAnn Falletta said it was quite the adventure for them.
In this program, we’ll hear Conrad Tao stretching the boundaries on the piano in George Gershwin’s Concerto in F — as well as a celebration of Krzysztof Penderecki’s 85th birthday in 2018, the orchestra played the Adagietto from Paradise Lost. Then, we’ll hear Leonard Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story.

Hour 1
