For the first time since 2017, former Artistic Partner Thomas Zehetmair reunites with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra for one of the greatest symphonies of all-time, Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony. Although this program takes its title from Mozart’s last and longest symphony — nicknamed after the Roman god for its grandness — don’t let that eclipse another blockbuster hit on this program; on the heels of one of Zehetmair’s own compositions, Concertmaster Steven Copes and Principal Cello Julie Albers team up for Brahms’ Double Concerto, a thrilling back-and-forth between violin and cello that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Listen to the concert now!
