SPCO performs Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony with Thomas Zehetmair

For the first time since 2017, former Artistic Partner Thomas Zehetmair reunites with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra for one of the greatest symphonies of all-time, Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony. Although this program takes its title from Mozart’s last and longest symphony — nicknamed after the Roman god for its grandness — don’t let that eclipse another blockbuster hit on this program; on the heels of one of Zehetmair’s own compositions, Concertmaster Steven Copes and Principal Cello Julie Albers team up for Brahms’ Double Concerto, a thrilling back-and-forth between violin and cello that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
