'Let There Be Peace on Earth': Reconnecting Through Art/Reunidos en Arte

“Let There Be Peace on Earth” (arr. by Mark Hayes) concluded a two-day festival called “Reconnecting Through Art/Reunidos en Arte.”

Concerts in El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, were held to promote community and healing through the arts. Events were organized by Dr. Jonathan Palant, associate professor at the University of Texas at Dallas and founding conductor of the Credo Community Choir.

Opera legend Frederica von Stade
Students from the University of Texas at Dallas and UT El Paso
Chorus Ciudad Juárez
Dallas’ Credo Community Choir
Esperanza Azteca Youth Orchestra, a group of youth rescued from the reach of organized crime
