Regardless of your age, you probably recognize the music from the film 'Born Free'. John Barry's score won Academy Awards, BAFTAs, Golden Globes and Grammys. The 1966 film and its music is still referenced in popular culture to this day.

One of Hollywood's most lauded director-composer collaborations was that between David Lean and Maurice Jarre for 1984's 'A Passage to India'. This week on Flicks in Five, we'll hear Jarre conducting his own music for the film.

This year's Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival features a bounty of riches - both onscreen and off - for those who enjoy classical music and film scores.
