YourClassical host Jillene Khan's cat, Harri, is named after Harry Potter because of the lightning bolt mark on her forehead.

How do you share classical music with your pet?

That’s my cat, Harri. She was named after Harry Potter. (See the lightning bolt on her forehead?)

Her favorite classical sounds are film scores by John Williams. Sometimes I think she even plays quidditch when I leave the house!

I’ve always loved animals, and I’ve had pets my whole life. I’m hoping to talk to you about the pets in your life!

Does your pet do anything extraordinary when they hear classical music?

I’m looking for dogs that “sing” along with the music or cats that get the zoomies when they hear a certain piece. Do your chickens lay more eggs for a symphony vs. a sonata? Have you noticed your horse doing a happy trot (aka “dance”) when they hear their favorite composer?

Tell me about your pet, and you might be featured in an upcoming national special about pets and classical music!
