Malek Jandali bridges multiple borders

This week on Extra Eclectic, we hear from Syrian composer Malek Jandali, whose work integrates Middle Eastern and Arabic melodies into the structures of Western classical music. He also founded the nonprofit organization Pianos for Peace, which aims to build peace through music and education.
