Our celebration of Black History Month continues on this week’s episode of Extra Eclectic, hosted by Steve Seel, with a collection of Black composers paying tribute to musicians and performers who inspired them. We’ll hear William Banfield's Symphony No. 6, which honors legendary jazz artists, Valerie Coleman's Portraits of Josephine, which honors Josephine Baker, and Jeff Scott's Startin' Sumthin, a musical tribute to ragtime.
