88 x 4 = Infinite Inspiration

Eighty-eight keys hath the piano, and four pianists offer special delights this week:
Bach’s iconic is the Well-Tempered Clavier. To celebrate its 300th anniversary, a team of four marvelous pianists performs it at Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis Sunday afternoon. Heavenly.
While on his way to Merkin Hall in New York City, Alon Goldstein stops in Fargo-Moorhead for the big Brahms’ Second Concerto with the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony.
Sunday afternoon for Chamber Music St. Cloud, pianist Bethel Balge teams up with Minnesota Orchestra associate concertmaster violinist Susie Park and principal cellist Tony Ross for Samuel Barber, Jesse Montgomery, and Brahms. Superb.
The entire Minnesota Orchestra welcomes pianist Simon Trcepski. Fresh from his Chicago Symphony gigs last week, Trcepski dives into Tchaikovsky’s First Concerto.
