Extra Eclectic - Honoring Mills College

Lou Harrison was one of a host of maverick American composers who taught for many years at Mills College in Oakland, California — a school that recently announced it would be closing its doors after 163 years. Host Steve Seel pays tribute to Mills this week with some of Harrison's music. He also showcases Aaron Dessner's new Concerto for Two Pianos, written for sisters Katia and Marielle Labeque.
