Powerhouse soprano Pretty Yende has graced the stage of nearly every major opera house in the world, including Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Staatsoper Berlin and the Metropolitan Opera in New York. At the age of 16, Yende began her vocal training in Cape Town, South Africa. Then she went on to study in Milan and eventually win several international singing competitions. Today, she is one of the most accomplished coloratura sopranos of her generation.
Yende's second solo album, "Dreams" was released this year.
