This week on the Choral Featured Album, we present Thomisson's Easter, the new release from Musica Ficta. This 16-track release, running about an hour, reconstructs a 1560 Lutheran service in Ribe Cathedral, in southwest Denmark — as presented by Danish hymn collector Hans Thomisson (1532-73), who was the church's music director at the time.
