Moms — they can be sweet and soft, or tough and edgy. We love them all, and so does Hollywood.

Even in animated films, we find some of cinema's most compelling and interesting mothers — from Bambi's mom to a very loving elephant named Mrs. Jumbo.

"Baby Mine" is a song from the 1941 Disney animated feature Dumbo, with music by Frank Churchill, and lyrics by Ned Washington. it's considered by many to be one of the greatest songs in American film history. In the film, the song is sung by Dumbo's mother, who cradles her baby Dumbo with her trunk, comforting him with this lullaby.

The song was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 14th Academy Awards in 1942. It is also listed on AFI's "100 Years... 100 Songs" as one of America's greatest film songs.
