This week, we're taking another look at Minnesota Monthly's 2017 To-Do List to see what's happening in March.
The big event for the month is the magazine's annual Food & Wine show, which kicks off Friday, March 3, with the Grand Red Tasting — a more high-end red wine sampling at the Muse Event Center.
On March 4 and 5, there's a full-on sample fest of food, wine, beer, and spirits at the indoor event space at Target Field. It's a very efficient way to catch up on what you've missed in the food and wine world in one day. For example, Schell's in New Ulm is pouring 5 beers, as are Finnegans and Lakes and Legends. It's a mix of local and international vendors.
And don't forget Pi Day on March 14 — a great excuse to indulge in a local slice! We'll discuss St. Patrick's Day in a couple of weeks.
