Every weekday at 10 a.m., the hosts at Classical MPR play a standout work based on the theme for the week. We call them Morning Glories.
The Great Northern Festival is now underway, and this week on Morning Glories we're celebrating with some music of winter.
Monday
Émile Waldteufel: The Skaters Waltz
Tuesday
Carter Pann: Slalom
Wednesday
Frederick Delius: North Country Sketches — Winter Landscape
Thursday
Franz Joseph Haydn: String Quartet No. 27
Friday
Sergei Prokofiev: Winter Bonfire
