For 10 years, Carnegie Hall's Ensemble Connect program has gathered some of the finest young classical musicians in the United States and provided them with a two-year fellowship, where they gain experience in teaching, entrepreneurship, community engagement, and much more.
Ensemble Connect fellows also have an opportunity to partner with a New York City public school. As part of that program, bassoonist and St. Paul, Minn. native Remy Taghavi visited students at PS 63 in Queens, N.Y. to teach them about music and conducting.
See video from Taghavi's visit in the ABC News clip below.
