At a recent demonstration, pianist Yuja Wang demonstrated her skills with a particularly challenging piece by Schumann. But what took everyone by surprise was that when she was finished, the piano played it again.
Wang was playing the latest in a long line of magnificent pianos by Steinway & Sons — Spirio — a piano that with magnificent technology can play a variety of pre-programmed tracks, including those performed by Ms. Wang and other celebrated Steinway & Sons artists.
