Every weekday morning at 10 a.m., the hosts at Classical MPR play a standout work based on the theme for the week. We call them Morning Glories.
It was announced last Thursday that conductor Yannick Nezet-Seguin, music director of the Philadelphia Orchestra, will succeed James Levine as the next music director for the Metropolitan Opera. This week for Morning Glories, we will hear recordings that have the 41-year-old maestro Nezet-Seguin on the podium.
