What are your goals as a musician/performer/group?
Chamber music is particularly rewarding because we work without a conductor, and our performance becomes a conversation with our colleagues. Because the instruments in a Woodwind Quintet are so different from one another, we have an especially wide range of color and expression to work with. Our group has played together since October of 2015, and our goals for the year include rehearsing and performing music representing many countries and stylistic periods within the classical repertoire.
