KARE 11 interviews Lynne Warfel about the late James Horner

Following the news of composer James Horner's death in California, the Twin Cities' NBC affiliate, KARE 11, visited Minnesota Public Radio to interview Classical MPR's Lynne Warfel.

"It's a huge loss because there are so many stories that he still had to tell," Warfel says of Horner in the KARE 11 interview.

Warfel, who has enjoyed a career as an actress, is the host of Flicks in Five and Saturday Cinema on Classical MPR, in addition to her regular on-air shifts. The Feb. 3, 2015, episode of Flicks in Five featured Horner's music from Titanic.

Meanwhile, the Movies stream on YourClassical.org is featuring music by James Horner this week, in tribute to the late composer.
