Arden Harrison Bushnell is a fabric artist whose work has been seen, touched and awarded at the Minnesota State Fair. Her work springs from an innate creativity (she is self-taught) that has helped her to heal from an accident that nearly took her life several years ago. Her music playlist is as colorful and rhythmically vibrant as the visual art she creates.

Alexander Glazunov: Violin Concerto (Allegro/finale) with the Russian National Orchestra conducted by Mikhail Pletnev with Gil Shaham, violin. DG 457 064

Maurice Ravel: Mother Goose Suite (The Fairy Garden) with the SPCO from a concert performance Nov 13, 2010

Zoltan Kodaly: Dances from Galanta (excerpt) with the Budapest Festival Orchestra conducted by Ivan Fischer. Hungaroton 31324

Fritz Kreisler: Beautiful Rosemary with Itzhak Perlman, violin and Samuel Sanders, piano. EMI 47467

Beethoven: Sonata No. 14 "Moonlight" (Adagio sostenuto) with Artur Rubinstein, piano. RCA 5674

Next week: By day he's a computer programmer, but at night he's a successful composer. Chris Gennaula's playlist includes the music that has delighted him in the past. He shares some of his own works that have been heard throughout the Twin Cities.
