NO CONTRIBUTION OR PURCHASE IS NECESSARY -- MAKING A CONTRIBUTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING THIS CONTEST THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY AND SHALL ONLY BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO UNITED STATES LAW. DO NOT ENTER THIS CONTEST UNLESS YOU ARE LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.

1. CONTEST SCHEDULE: The "WHY I WANT TO CONDUCT THE MORMON TABERNACLE CHOIR" Contest (the "Contest") begins at 12:01 am CDT, June 6, 2013 and all entries must be submitted by 11:59 pm CDT, June 13, 2013 (the "Contest Period").

2. ELIGIBILITY. The Contest is open to all legal residents of any one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are 16 years of age or older on June 20, 2013. THIS CONTEST IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY. DO NOT ENTER THIS CONTEST UNLESS YOU ARE LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. Void where prohibited by law. One entry per person; duplicate entries will be disqualified. The following persons are not eligible: Persons who on or after October 20, 2012, were or are employees or immediate family members (e.g., spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) or those living in the same households (whether or not related) of a) Corporation of the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints d/b/a/ Mormon Tabernacle Choir (MTC), b) Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) and its parent corporation or its related organizations, or c) prize suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies.

3. TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, visit the contest submission page and follow the instruction provided to complete the online entry form, including the submission of the essay that meets the submission requirements described below (the "Submission"). Before you will be allowed to enter the Contest, you must expressly agree and consent to be bound by these OFFICIAL RULES and the TERMS OF SERVICE and PRIVACY POLICIES of the web site. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the web site or enter the Contest. No contribution or purchase is necessary. Incomplete entries or entries submitted by other means will not be considered. Limit of one entry per person. Any Submission that is not in compliance with these entry rules may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor. Void where prohibited by law.

4. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS. To be considered for the Contest, a Submission must meet all of the following requirements: a) The Submission must be the original work of the Entrant. b) The Submission must be owned by the Entrant, and may not be subject to a rights license or other contractual obligation that limits the Entrant's ownership rights. c) The Entrant must meet all eligibility requirements. d) The Submission must be no more than 350 characters in length and must state why the entrant wants to conduct the Mormon Tabernacle Choir during its June 20, 2013 performance at Target Center in Minneapolis, MN (Concert). e) Submissions may not contain content that violates any third-party rights (e.g., trademarked words or copyrighted statements), that is not suitable for broadcast, or that MPR, in its sole discretion, deems inappropriate. Any Submission that does not meet all Submission Requirements may be disqualified at any time, at the sole discretion of MPR.

5. LICENSE. By entering the Contest, Entrant grants an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide non-exclusive license to MTC and to MPR and its related companies to reproduce, distribute, and/or display the Submission a) in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, including, but not limited to terrestrial broadcasts, web, and any other platform now known or later developed, b) in connection with MPR or MTC, and promotion of MPR or MTC, including, but not limited to terrestrial broadcasts, web, and any other platform now known or later developed, and c) in MPR-related commercial products. No additional consideration or approval is required for any such use. Further, as a condition of accepting the prize the winner of the contest will be required to assign to MPR all rights to the Submission. MTC and MPR or its related organizations may use name and likeness of Winner for advertising, fundraising, promotional, and/or publicity purposes without further compensation.

6. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER(S): Every eligible Submission will be included in the Contest. Selection will be made according to the following process, or as otherwise determined by the Contest Sponsor: a) The Contest Sponsor will name a panel of MPR staff members to serve as Contest judges (collectively, the Judges). b) The Judges will review all eligible Submissions received during the Contest Period. c) Judges will select one (1) Winner and three (3) Back Up Finalists. The criteria for selecting the Winner and the Back Up Finalists will be determined in the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor, and may include factors such as originality, clarity, and flair. d) As a condition of winning the Prize: (i) the Winner must be available to participate in the Concert rehearsal at 4:30 pm on June 20, 2013, (ii) the Winner will be required to assign to MPR all rights to the Submission and (iii) if the Winner is under the age of 18, then the Winner's parent or guardian must sign a release form provided by MPR. g) If Contest Sponsor deems the Winner to be ineligible or if the Winner is unable to participate in the rehearsal, is unwilling to assign to MPR all rights to the Submission, or is unable to provide the required parental/guardian release, then the Prize will go to a Back Up Finalist selected by the Judges until a Winner is selected.

7. PRIZE DETAILS: The Winner will receive the following prize: Serve as conductor for the encore piece performed by the MTC at the Concert, two (2) tickets to the Concert, one (1) MTC audio CD selected by MTC, and one (1) MPR t-shirt selected by MPR. Prize retail value: $200.00 Prize is nontransferable. Winner will receive the tickets at the Target Center "Will Call" window on the day of the Concert and will receive the CD and t-shirt via the delivery service selected by Contest Sponsor.

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Entrants agree that the Sponsors have the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from this Contest and that all decisions of Sponsor are final and binding. Winners, by acceptance of the Prize, agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Contest Sponsor, as well as its parent and related companies, and each of its employees, representatives, contractors, and advertisers from any and all liability, loss, damage, cost or claim relating to any allegation regarding the acceptance or use of their prize. Any Entrant that violates the Official Rules, as determined in the sole discretion of Contest Sponsor, will be immediately disqualified from the Contest. The Contest Sponsor and related organizations, their agents and employees have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the Prize, or by participation in the Contest. The MTC, MPR, and its related organizations may use Winner's name and likeness for advertising, fundraising, promotional or publicity purposes without further compensation. Winner will be responsible for a) all applicable taxes and b) any and all expenses associated with claiming the Prize, including but not limited to transportation and parking. Tickets must be used in compliance with the Target Center box office policies. The rules detailing Contest eligibility and method of selecting the Winner are on file at the Contest Sponsor.

9. RESTRICTIONS: By participating in the Contest, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of Minnesota Public Radio as the Contest Sponsor.
