One year ago, violinist Jorja Fleezanis left the Minnesota Orchestra after 20 years as concertmaster, to begin her new job as Professor of Violin at Indiana University School of Music.

She's back in Minnesota for recitals at the Old Log Theater and the White Pine Festival, so host John Birge had a chance to ask her "How's it going?"

In the wake of a major career change, and the death of her husband Michael Steinberg last summer after a long battle with cancer, she's found nourishment in teaching her students, and a healing place to put down roots: Bloomington, Indiana.
