In his youth, Wolfgang Mozart didn't write much for solo violin. But at age 19 he went on a fiddle spree, composing four violin concertos in rapid succession. On Monday's Performance Today from APM, we'll hear a performance of Mozart's Fourth Violin Concerto from the Artosphere Festival in Bentonville, Arkansas. Plus, a new focus on Johann Hummel's music from the Chamber Society of Lincoln Center.
