Send in your #SymphonySelfie

You look great. You feel great. You are all dressed up and you've got somewhere to go — the symphony. Go ahead, turn that camera around and take a picture.

This fall, we're encouraging everyone to celebrate the act of seeing live classical music. We've seen the hashtag #SymphonySelfie on Instagram and Twitter, and we thought it would be a terrific way to encourage people to get in on the amazing experience that is seeing music come alive in the concert hall.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Dress up, look sharp.

  2. Take a photo of yourself/yourselves. (Tips on how to take a phenomenal photo.)

  3. Post it to Instragram and/or Twitter with the hashtag #SymphonySelfie and tag @YourClassical before November 15, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. CT

We'll pick the best and put them on display here. On November 16, we'll pick one photo at random and put that photographer on air with Alison Young, host of SymphonyCast.

One (1) winner will get to appear on a short, one-minute (1 minute) pre-recorded segment on SymphonyCast, airing in December, 2015.) Three (3) back up names will be drawn.

We will contact the winner on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015. Winner must accept by 10 a.m. CDT Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015.
